JASON PAUL LAXAMANA is Pampangas
hidden treasure. He first shared his
writing through his column on
Peyups.com entitled 320/320 Vision. His
one-act play, Divina Intervention, and
his full-length pop stage musical,
Donated by Charo Cuneta, were both
staged in UP Diliman. He then wrote,
directed, and produced a short all-
Kapampangan digital film, titled Anak
ning Kapri (Spawn of the Kapri). He is
currently pursuing media-related
projects that aim to promote
Kapampangan to the youth.

  1. hey yuns frenchy gal, musta na, its armi, i read your blog post about jason laxaman, name sounded very familiar to me and i was intrigued and curious if i really know this guy since u said he's from pampanga ( like myself)so i made some research tru the net and i saw his teaser from his short film "spawn of the kapri" . a very interesting subject coz, its true that as a kid growing up in a small and humble village, i remember being (constantly) "tinatakot" about the KAPRI. Its a parent way of scaring their kids if they dont wanna listen.
    ...like " dont you ever go out in the backyard, or the "kapri" will take you with him!!" that sort of thing, anyway im glad you posted something about jason, and i found out about him and his short movie which, in some ways, reminded me of my childhood in pampanga.
