The Imperfect Combination

On paper you wrote, “Never give up.”, so you’ll be reminded of what you already did.Then you start questioning, why two such hopeful words,’ give and up’, ended up with a meaning so hopeless.

But this is not the first time.
YOU are hopeful.
I am hopeful.
