There's nothing wrong with putting your best foot forward...Tama naman diba? It's always been my philosophy. I don't think showing other people your best side is pretentious per se. It's more like an invitation to a person to get to know you better. There's nothing wrong with "Good advertising". I think people should be flattered that someone's exerting effort to be the best that he/she can be. Aminin nyo, refreshing itong take ko na ito! =P
