=) I won and I am officially Secretary General of ALS for 2008. [assuming that no recount and all that jazz will occur in the future]
=) According to my chinese horoscope, there is a possibility of meeting the love of my life on March, May, August and September. March has already started... Therefore.
=) I am crushing on someone in the law school but I don't know what his name is and I don't know which year he is in. The thing is, we've been talking and it's so hard to ask for his name especially after we've already exchanged views. haha.
=) I think 2008 is really going to be an exciting year. This is so late a prediction but I feel it. I SO FEEL it.
=) Last Saturday, I was one of those privileged few who watched Bb Pilipinas LIVE. Yes, it was soooo worth it because the Q&A portion was the best. Proof? The girl who won the Miss World title has a video of her answer in YOU TUBE and as of yesterday, it got 200 thousand views and 400+ comments. I pity her especially because she said that she was "CONFIDENT." At least she, in her own words, "CAME FROM THE TAF TEN" [THe author would like to believe that she meant TOUGH TEN only to make everything logical]
Eunice's answer to the 5 things that make you smile question.
1] Highlighters because they bring out the color in my dull law school life.
2] The fact that I am [assuming that i was there] talking to Paolo Bediones and the judges in front of everyone in Araneta in my SWIMSUIT.
3] Balls, because I looove playing with them.
4] THe people who support me every single time.
5] The possibility of winning one of the Bb Pilipinas titles.
Pwede na ba? Oh well..
=) I watched Across the Universe yesterday with the HR family because I am and have always been an adopted HR family member from the start. I must say that Across the Universe is one if not the most powerful and SOLID films that I have ever watched. I hope everyone I know gets to watch it because it's something that I wouldn't want anyone to miss. Even my parents.
Who would've thought that STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER is a metaphor for bleeding hearts and the blood that's shed everytime there's a war? Really, the Beatles and everyone behind Across the Universe is a genius.
I just don't like the girl who played Lucy, well, all the girls that I watched the film with hated her. We all claim that it's because she's too perfect and that her voice doesn't fit in the picture. BUT PERSONALLY, I THINK IT'S THE BITCH FACTOR. She got JUDE!!! AND JUDE MANAGED TO MAKE ME FALL IN LOVE FROM THE MOMENT I SAW HIM IN THAT FIRST SCENE. My heart was literally aching when I saw Jude and Lucy kiss the first time.
Max became hotter than Jude right after the war. That's a personal opinion. He's hot from the start but after he's been scarred by his being a soldier, man... it was the end of the competition between Jude and him in my heart.
Of course, who will forget Prudence? Prudence that fleeting one who shocked almost everyone when it was revealed that she's a lesbian. For a second there I thought that Max and Jude might end up gay. Prudence is such a rich character that i think, she's my favorite.
=) After our Across the Universe gimmick, we went ahead and crashed Vida's Birthday Party in Globil. HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIDA. It was a rocking party! The food was el delicioso and the booze was overflowing. PLUS THERE'S A VIDEOKE THINGIE. Patring and I had the grandest of times. MRD and NYOY managed to sexually harass me but it was all good fun. I can't say that it was CLEAN but it was definitely fun.
ALL IN ALL, everything that has happened further convinced me that 2008 is going to be my year.
Wish me and Ryan QUan goodluck as we battle it out in the coolest category this Sunday at Lex Commones.... [drumroll please!] the QUIZ BEE.
I shall end with a line that was uttered by Jude in Across the Universe...
