Dadaanin Ko na Lang sa Kanta...

My friends have the habit of dedicating songs for me these past few days.. here are some of 'em..

Unang Araw
by Sugarfree
(Anna Mitz)

Sadya ba talagang ganyan
Palakad-lakad ka't nakatungo
Sa'n patungo?
Ngayong wala ka na
Kailangang masanay na muling nag-iisa
Sa'n ka na kaya?

'Wag mo akong sisihin

Nababato, nalulungkot
Luha'y napapawi ng singhot
At talukbong ng kumot

Fix You
by Cold Play
(Anna Mitz)

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I..

Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from the mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I..

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.

I Love You, Goodbye
by Celine Dion
(PEPE)

Wish I could be the one
The one who could give you love
The kind of love you really need
Wish I could say to you
That I'll always stay with you
But baby that's not me
You need someone willing to give their heart and soul to you
Promise you forever, baby that's something I can't do
Oh I could say that I'll be all you need
But that would be a lie
I know I'd only hurt you
I know I'd only make you cry
I'm not the one you're needing
I love you, goodbye

I hope someday you can Find some way to understand I'm only doing this for you
I don't really wanna go
But deep in my heart I know this is the kindest thing to do
You'll find someone who'll be the one that I could never be
Who'll give you something better
Than the love you'll find with me
Oh I could say that I'll be all you need
But that would be a crime
I know I'd only hurt you
I know I'd only make you cry
I'm not the one you're needing
I love you, goodbye

Leaving someone when you love someone
Is the hardest thing to do
When you love someone as much as I love you

Oh I don't wanna leave you
Baby it tears me up inside
But I'll never be the one you're needing
I love you, goodbye

Baby, its never gonna work out
I love you, goodbye

NEW NEWS.

1. When I went home last night, I panicked when I saw quite a number of armed men [aggravating circumstance!] in San Joaquin. They were exactly where I usually take the trike on my way to my house. It turned out that it's a part of this whole "security" thing to find 4 of those Oakwood mutineers who escaped from Fort Bonifacio the night before. I didnt even have the slightest idea 4 of them managed to escape. It made me realize how unaware I am of what's happening outside law school. CHECKPOINT. Nakaka-panic, I really thought there was a dangerous event on the verge of happening and that my life was in danger. I should stop drinking Cafe Americano venti, I'm beginning to be really jumpy.

2. Japhet made an "apparition" last night. He just appeared right before my now "unclear eyes". We spent the night chatting. That's time away my Consti readings. Argh. Mali ito.

3. Japhet and I bumped into Kai [blockmate] with her boyfriend Pao. I'm glad that she's graduating this summer. We told her thatwe saw her friend "THE Anne [Curtis]" at Gram's earlier that night. It turned out that she was meeting her and the rest of her (we assume) village friends. La lang.

4. The other day, AM also made an unexpected some kind of a visit. She was having this "sports day" with her officemates at Power UP. She was the official "cheerer" of her wall-climbing friends. We werent really able to chat that long because I had to go back to Starbucks to read some more for my midterms. But I was happy to see her 'coz it's been a while too.

5. Sam [Sherry Amour], if you're reading this. I HAVE YOUR PLANNER. Get it from me next week since we'll be having our dinner naman during the weekend.

Ok, aral mode.

Taran Taran!

The need for survival brings out the wackiest ideas. The other day, I was with Hazel and we were waiting for the dinner that she ordered in Good Earth. We were having our usual conversation when we were rudely interrupted by this guy who came from nowhere. He just began to talk about how we can actually be of help to him and his organization. His speech was obviously memorized because he delivered it flawlessly in a disturbing sort of way. He spoke straight, awkward English.

I didnt really get everything he said but I managed to catch what he calls the product that he's endorsing. It's the "TARAN TARAN ballpen". I was so dumbfounded that the only thing I managed to say in retaliation to his interruption was, "Nagjo-joke ka ba?" But in the end, since I'm like my Dad in many many ways, I didnt have the heart to say NO to something which is allegedly for a "Good Cause". My other friends sort of teased me for paying 60 pesos for this amazing taran taran ballpen and even made me realize that for all I know it may not be for a good cause. I just told them that at least my intention was clear and if in fact it's for a good cause then I wouldnt be stopped by a suspicion without any substantial evidence from being a part of it. And of course there's always a catch.. i actually had two reasons why I bought the TARAN TARAN ballpen, the first one's NOBLE because I really wanna help but the second reason was more selfish. It made me laugh. I cracked when I found out what TARAN TARAN means.

The TARAN TARAN Ballpen is not your average ballpen. It has a "secret feature". It has a "PULLOUT CALENDAR". You maybe wondering what TARAN TARAN has got to do with it. Well, the guy illustrated it pretty well. All you have to do is to pullout the calendar in a snappy kind of way and shout with feelings, "TARAN!". Yes, with FEELINGS. Pull and shout. Pull and shout.

Everybody now. [Pull] and shout... TARAN! It really made my night worth it. Astig. Nakatulong na ako, natuwa pa ako. Astig.

Eunice, when it comes to second chances, you're a Believer
Maybe you've seen some strange things in your day. Or maybe you're just a spiritual person. Perhaps you want to keep your options open. Any way you slice it, you believe there's something more to life than just breathing and eating.

Open-minded and optimistic, you've got a great energy about you, and friends are likely to feel more centered when you're around. What makes you such a peaceful person? Maybe knowing it's not always your fault when things don't go your way. Or that closed doors often reveal new paths to travel along. Now that's something to believe in!

Eunice, you're looking for a Best Friend
There are many different ways to look at relationships, but for you, finding a best friend, the one person you share everything with, is the most important. Some people focus more on the romantic image of a soul mate to last the span of time, but you probably prefer the reality of making the most of every moment of every day. And who better to live those moments with than someone who's true blue through and through?

The ideal match for you is probably someone who can anticipate the next word out of your mouth and who laughs at the punch line before you even tell it. Chances are it's important to you that they'd expand your circle of friends, introduce you to new places, faces, and experiences, too. Whether this relationship is here for the short- or the long- term, you're a take-it-as-it-comes kind of person, with few expectations or fairytales to live up to. You'd take your constant companion and trusted secret-keeper over a fairy princess or Prince Charming, any day. Whether you realize it or not, there's someone out there who feels the same way about you. Like you, that someone is looking for the one person to be their best friend — both in the bedroom and out.

MIDTERMS

MIDTERMS na. Friends, please do pray for me. I need all the help i can get, may it be physical or spiritual. Human warmth included. Haha. Sobrang lamig sa Starbucks Loft, di sya normal. =)

I am saying sorry to Yvie for laughing when you told us na "Nabangga ang side mirror" mo. I wasnt expecting it to be THAT serious. Argh, talaga namang gulat na gulat kaming lahat nang nakita namin ang damage na na-cause ng iyong "collision with the gate". Pero ok lang yan, i gave up naman the "DIGIPERM" thing for you. Hehe.

Meron akong bagong crush.

Sa tingin ko mabubugbog ako any moment for coining the NICKNAME "Ebralinag" for this guy. Natatawa parin ako hanggang ngayon. Stalker Ebralinag. Bwahahaha.

Gotta go. Study time na ulit.

Last Friday, there was a sorta acoustic/ art exhibit night in Starbucks and I won a painting by Richard Tuazon. Please do check his works of art out at the Starbucks Loft... Astig. I really like the "Coffee Escape" painting.

Logical Thinking (repost from Friendster)

One day, Erap sees Pres. Ramos reading a book on logic.

Erap : Fidel, mahirap yata iyang binabasa mong libro.

The following day, Erap sees Maceda in the Senate. . .
Maceda : Wala.
Erap : BAKLA! BAKLA! BAKLA!

this is my way of saying GOODLUCK to 1C for our Logic Midterms. hehe.

Tigilan Na Natin.

They did it again. I was just so glad that Ana was there when it happened. At least I got to share the story, well i didnt have to because she heard their, uhmm, this girl's attempt to fish for info by merely saying his name. Ana also informed me that they continue to tell her stories about him, half-hoping that she'll tell me. Argh, that's just so lame.

Some people just dont get it. Uhmm, guys... STORY'S OVER. Don't look at me like I'm one half of the couple that you thought existed. I am not, I wasn't and I never will be with him. Give it up. And I'm saying it without even a hint of disgust or bitterness, the "US" that you're counting on is not gonna happen. So please stop dropping his name everytime you get the chance, stop inviting me to events with very high chances that I'll bump into him and just stop trying to get the answer to your questions by asking me indirectly. There was no US. We were close friends. We're still friends now. I dunno if we'll continue to be friends in the future. Case closed.
-----------------------

Ana got me into thinking tonight when we had a sorta "heated debate" with regard my "Man-finding" skills. We were having a normal conversation when I jokingly pointed out that, "I dont have time for guys."

She gave me a really judgmental look (hehe!) and said, "You?? Of all people? Only you had the skill to find someone from the small world that we are in." (paraphrased) i was surprised that she said that and so I attempted to discuss it a li'l further.

[paraphrased conversation. couldnt remember the exact words. Ana, feel free to correct me,hehe]
Euns: Me? I didnt look for him! It was just a bet.
Ana: Still, how did it start?
Euns: I found him cute.
Ana: See? Only you can find potential from a "hopeless" situation.
Euns: But please don't say that it was purely me. All I did was to ask for his name and some info. That was it.
Ana: You made the first move.
Euns: It was just a bet.
Ana: But you still did it and it is something that not a lot of women do. Making the first move.
Euns: I didnt plan for it to be something more.
Ana: That's not the point. The point is, you still found a way to start it all.
Euns: Fine. But you must admit it wasn't all me. That was all I did.
Ana: Yeah.
Euns: I didnt come to him. He came to me. He did all the "crucial things"
Ana: It wasnt the point.
Euns: Fine. I was just messing up with the debate.
So I guess I did initiate this whole romantic misfortune that I experienced not too long ago. But I stand firm with my conclusion that "He did most of the things." and that he in a way is guilty of INSTIGATION. He led me to believe that uhmm... ok I am stopping. Basta "FRAUDULENT" sya. Guilty of being in bad faith at that time.

Oo na Ana, compliment sa akin ung "If I want to, I can" accusation ni Ana. Apir.

DOLLY?

It still freaks me out that my life is one overrated soap opera / sitcom. This happened yesterday during that specific time when Mia left me at Starbucks for JUST a FEW MINUTES to go to the Ateneo Law School library. I was desperately trying to study Logic for my 4 o'clock class, my mp3 player was on and i realized that someone was standing and sorta talking beside me. I looked up and saw a caucasian (I dunno if that's politically correct, and there's even nothing political about what happened to me).

Caucasian: (mumbling)
Eunice: What? (with a bewildered/ annoyed/ are you talking to me? look)
Caucasian: Uhmm... Excuse me... Are you Dolly?
Eunice: Nooooo. (with the ARE YOU KIDDiNG ME? tone and the "DO I LOOK LIKE SOMEONE NAMED DOLLY TO YOU?! look)
And the funnier part was he didnt leave right away and pretended to call someone. I assumed that he was trying to figure out if I was lying and was maybe trying to prove that I'm his date. Argh. What are the chances diba?

It's just sooo effin' weird. I remember that I once was approached in the mall by this sorta hot foreigner guy and followed me around while asking info like, "What's your name and where are you studying." I was scared as hell. And there was also this time while I was shopping and this guy asked me which perfume I would prefer... He even went as far as saying that he was buying it for his mom. Yeah right. Do I look that approachable? It's not like i'm pretty. [ehem fishing. haha. but seriously i'm not!]

Baaaaakiiiit? (Nore Aunor tone)

Pressure. Pressure.

I am the only Senior Parner of DuhPerm who isnt driving. It all started with just Hazel, then Shem began to bring her own car. Now, Melo and Yvie are also gonna be driving. Pressure ito. I was supposed to start driving my Benz this semester when I decided not to because I didnt think i deserve it. It was after I found out that I didn't perform as well as i expected. Parang penitensya ito. Pero nap-pressure na talaga ako. Yvie's gonna drive na tomorrow. Buntong-hininga. Parang kailan lang I was driving around Pasig, Ortigas and Taguig... pero ngayon. Haay.
