A lesson on friendship: It is sometimes inevitable to choose your side. When that happens, you don't expect the decision to come unnoticed. That's the thing about lasting friendships, when a friend has been hurt, you stand up for them no matter what. When you choose your side, you choose them not because they're right but because they need you to be with them. That's not to say that you won't call them out if they're wrong, you will and you make them hear you until the message has come across. You don't say, "I support you." and go dancing with the devil.
