The Belief

At the end of the day, we are defined by what we believe is morally right. We are nothing without our principles. So when it gets so hard to hold on to these beliefs, go find your center and remember that the only thing that sets us apart from animals is our ability to know what is wrong and what is right. That is what being human is about, finding ways to be happy without intentionally hurting other people in the process. To succumb to instinct is one thing but to identify that the instinct to survive sometimes is less important than being good is the triumph of humanity. In 2014, make mistakes not because you're human but because you didn't know better but never ever let go of being good.
